Among The Mohave Native American Tribes of antiquity – ‘’Mastamho’’ was a ‘’Earth Deity’’. Seen as ‘’Protector of The People’’ (Mohave), His ‘’Grandmother’’ was The ‘’Earth Mother’’ (or ‘’Frog Mother’’). In still surviving prehistoric ‘’land art’’, examples still exist of large Icons (etched into the ground) of His image. Human in form, His arms outstretched  - were much longer in proportion with Mastamho’s frame. This was so that His arms ‘’covered the land’’, in protection.
