Relative to Incan (Mesoamerican) Mythology, ''Mama Ocllo'' was a Fertility Goddess who was also associated with food (harvest) production in that Culture. She was seen as being The deity who brought Corn (Maize) to The Incans. This would serve as a food staple for them. Her Cult (which ranged from Pre-Incan times), was still in existence (to some degree), well into the 18th Century, by Post-Incan Tribal descendants, and was even assimilated by these Tribes into The Christian (Catholic) ''Mary, Mother of Christ'' or ''Madonna''.
