Maleficium

In Sorcery (and Witchcraft) a ''Maleficium'' is a term applied to the Act of producing ''harmful'' Magic to illicit injury or death to a victim. First appearing in writings from the 16th Century AD (England), it is a derivative of the word ''Malevolent''. As stated, the primary goal of Maleficium was to cast spells to bring out the ''ruin'' of One's ''Enemy''.
