An interesting tale several thousand years old, this Taoist story tells of a Chinese Demon known as Madame White. In her "human" guise, she is seem as a beautiful, intelligent and rich woman (just what every man wants). Her servant is a common woman who always wears blue. Madame White finds good looking men to marry. On the wedding night, a great feast is held. Fine meats are always offered. However, the food is actually the "remains" of her last husband! When Madame White grows bored with her Mates, she assumes her true form - that of a giant white snake. She kills them and has her servant "prepare" the remains for the "next" unfortunate. Her servant is a sub-demon, whose true form is a fish. Many versions of her tale have been told. One well known has her last victim learning her secret. Turning the tables on her, he keeps her interest so long that Madame White fell in love with him. Sealing her in a cave, he steals her fortune and escapes. Best no one ever accidentally unearths her......she will be very mad (and hungry!)
