Lynx Stone

The ‘’Lynx’ Stone'' was a type of amber-like material, seen by The Ancient Greek -  as a type of powerful talisman used to spur ‘’Love’’ as well as ‘’Lust’’ between sexes. The Stone was mined and often cut (then polished). The Lynx was then placed (set), into various jewelry to be worn primarily by Females. Earrings, necklaces and rings, were favored. Often, blessings were placed on Lynx Jewelry by Priests of various Goddesses and Gods who controlled the emotion of Love, as a means of placing such ‘’power’’ in the piece.
