Ly Erg

 From Scotland, The Ly Erg were Fairy-beings of a different sort . They are said to assume the shape and form of a soldier. In fact, they are almost indistinguishable from a real human one save their right hand. It is ALWAYS stained blood red. It is said that The Ly Erg are fierce in combat, and after centuries of combat their hand is stained with the blood of their enemies. Often territorial, they take possession of nearby water (Lakes and Streams). Should a human wander into The Ly Erg's possession - he will raise his bloody red hand to you in challenge. It is wise to retreat and not engage him they cannot be defeated!
