Linworm

 Seen in Germany and Sweden, The Linworm is a a large Dragon-like creature. It has very small (or none in some cases) legs. It crawls along much as a worm or snake. They have no wings, but often have a spiked mane. The Linworm's bite is quite poisonous and there is no cure. In Norse mythology, The Linworm was a subject of a Warrior's test in battle.
