Linixa Cheetah

From China and the year 2008, comes a Tale of an unusual Cryptid species found which caused an initial buzz in the archaeology. According to a fossil find, a 3 Million year old ‘’Feline’’ species dubbed ‘’Linxia Cheetah’’, was located. The Creature was much larger that a traditional Cheetah and – according to it’s skull and brain-pan, had a ‘’highly developed’’ cerebellum. In short, imagine a predatory cat that could ‘’think’’ (perhaps even reason), as a Human! Such a species – had it NOT gone extinct, could have very well taken over large portions of The Planet as the ‘’primary’’ Lifeform. But this was not to be (supposedly). Later examination determined that ‘’Linxia’’ was more likely a Hoax, cobbled together by a less than honest Archaeology student. But all evidence of the original fossil are not (mysteriously) gone from Museum storage………..
