Leyak

 From The Island of Bali (South Pacific), is the myth of The Leyak. The Leyak is an Evil Spirit who was once human (and cursed for being Witches and Warlocks in life) they travel at night looking for young babies to grab (and drain their blood, as it is the most pure). They prefer newborns. They also feed off the dead (human and animals). Said to reside in Graveyards, Leyaks are said to be able to cause their head and internal organs to break free of their bodies (as a protection). If one keeps a small statute of a Leyak in one's house they will leave you and your family in peace.
