A mythical Scottish ''Beastie'' – The Lavellan was said to be a large ''Rodent-like'' Creature, which was very poisonous. So much in fact, that even drinking water from the many deep water Lakes it lived in, could produce illness and death. It was known that Cattle Drovers would avoid certain bodies of water, due to the fact that Cattle and Horses would ''die'' from drinking from certain water sources. The condition was ''blamed on'' – The Lavellan.
