Perhaps one of the oldest Baltic Region's ''Deities'', The Goddess Lauma was known as far back as 15,000 BC (Neolithic). ''She'' and Her ''Children'' (identified as Spirits or ''Fae''), were said to be Guardians of orphans who suffered on Earth. ''They'' come back to Earth to help ease Man's sufferings. Invisible by nature, when they are ''seen'', they are often as ''small, waifish'' Children. Found in deep woods, Lauma has no evil attributes towards punishment, only pity.
