From South America, the tale of The Lakuma comes from the Native Tribes of Tierra del Fuego. Considered "Water Spirits", they are massive creatures that are circular in shape. Living in deep rivers and lakes, The Lakuma prey on humans for food. They do not like consuming entrails however, and the "sight" of them "floating" in the water is a tell tale sign that The Lakuma are active in a particular area. Compared to a Snail or Worm in terms of body "chemistry", they float close to the surface. Due to their massive size, their exposed "backs" can easily resemble a small island or sand bar. When an unwitting human steps on them, they strike. It is said that only a Shaman can control The Lakuna (through magic spells). They will use the creatures advanced type of "Army" against Tribal Enemies.
