 This Icelandic Cryptid tales goes back to the 14th Century AD. Residents around the ancient Lake Lagerfljot (near Eglisstaoir, Iceland), claim that the Beast is a massive Fluke-like species. No mythos is associated with The Creature, other than their must be more of them or that The Lagarfljot is somewhat ''immortal''. Said to be several hundred feet in length, a 2012 video purports to show The Beastie ''swimming'' or at least cause a massive wake in The Lake. Scientists claim methane bubbles escaping from The Lake would give a similar view.
