The People of Trinidad and Tobago in The Caribbean, have a Legend of a mythical shapeshifting Creature called The Lagahoo. Owing to early French influence (thru Colonization), the Beast is very similar to Europe's Werewolf (or Wolfman) Myths. The Lagahoo has several ''forms''. During the Day, It can resemble a ''normal'' Man - but at Night, takes the appearance of a Corpse. Further, strapped to it's back is a wooden coffin. The Lagahoo roams the countryside seeking victims to kill and consume. Another form, is that It can assume the appearance of any animal it wishes. Most normally, this is a predatory beast, such as a Great Cat or Wolf. It prefers this ''look'' to it's more ghastly guise – because it can blend in with other such animals. He must assume His ''true'' look at least once during the Night. The Beast can be killed however, by taking a wooden stick blessed with Holy Water, and trapping Him inside a Cemetery. Once done, He can be beaten back to The Spirit World.
