La'a Maomao

In Hawaiian Mythos – ''La'a Maomao'' was the personification of Winds. He was created in the ''Beginning Time'' (Chaos). His goal was to produced both Storms and fair winds, both seen as important to the overall scheme of Human understanding. Sailors ''prayed'' to La'a Maomao for ''safety'' and likewise feared His ''anger'' (Storms).
