La Lechuza

 From Mexico, The La Lechuza story, tells of a woman who practices Black Magic in her local Village. Found out, drug out of her home and killed, The Witch cursed the Villagers. She returned as an Giant Owl-Like Creature (with the Witches face!). La Lechuza is often heard at night screaming into the darkness. Sometimes, she coos (like a baby) to lure helpful and curious persons to their deaths. Maintaining a nest , she carries them off there (to consume them at her leisure). Some variations on the theme , has La Lechuza in the form of a beautiful woman (by day), and the Owl Monster (by night).
