A symbol of The Neo-Pagan Belief known as ‘’Dievturi’’ (which was created around 1925, in Latvia). The Belief sees itself totally in harmony with The Gods and Their ‘’protective’’ Spirits known as Diev’s – The System incorporates several Judaic-Christian facets as well. The symbol of The ‘’Krustu-Krust’’ is thought to have been derived from The Christian ‘’Jerusalem Cross’’ of the 14th Century AD. (4) basic Christian Crosses which are joined (each) at the support (central) beam. The upper crossbeams all radiate outwards. The ‘’Earth Goddess’’ Mara is their principle Deity. They too were persecuted by the former Soviet Union in the 1940s, to a point that many hundreds were massacred. It is estimated that their numbers are well under 1,000 people Worldwide.
