''Kori''

The Kori were massive creatures, said to have lived in The South America Countries of Venezuela and Columbia. Many hundreds of feet long, The Kori may have been related to The Ant Eater. Unlike them however, The Kori lived in water and were extremely hairy. Using their massive claws, they made their homes along river banks. So large, several "swipes' from their massive claws were said to demolish a river bank with ease. Kori's generally did not have humans on their "menu" (preferring Monkeys and related Primates). However, if their food sources became depleted, humans would do in a "pinch". The only way local Natives could control Kori's - were to drug them with specially prepared drinks, and to chop off their claws.
