The Female Tribal members of The Hadimu Tribe of Zanzibar (a small island off The Coast of Eastern Africa, near Tanzania's Mainland), have known for Centuries of a Spiritual Possession known as The ''Kirimiri''. Malevolent, The Kirimiri were often summoned and allowed to ''live'' in the bodies of Hadimu women. It was thought that by doing so, The Kirimiri Spirit would be satisfied for several months and ''move on'' (without the need to violently take a persons Soul – with the obvious dangerous side effects of an Exorcism being used). Practiced for Centuries and first record by French Explorers, the Cult of The Kirimiri oddly stopped in the 1860s. Some belief that perhaps the adoption of Christianity or Muslim religious practices erased this Cultural phenomenon.
