An early Main character in Thomas Mallory's ''Le Morte'' Cycle of King Arthur, ''King Leodegrace'' was ''Ruler of Cameliard'' (perhaps Modern Cornwall, England). He was Father to famed Arthurian Queen – Guinevere. An Ally of Arthur, when He fought against those Noblemen who ''refused'' (doubted), His linage to Uther Pendragon (once King of Breton), It was Leodegrace's Forces that broke the siege against Arthur's Castle. He was also one of the first to ''recognize'' Arthur as ''King'' (based on the removal of The Sword ''Excalibur'' from it's fabled ''Stone''). Although not mentioned by name in later Chapters of ''Le Morte'', Leodegrace is said to have offered ''safe harbor'' to Lancelot and His Knights, when they rescued Guinevere from King Arthur's ''anger'' of Her ''betrayal'' with Sir Lancelot.
