In Philippine Mythology, ‘’Kasamaan’’ was a ‘’Realm of The Underworld’’ – in which all ‘’Evil Spirits’’ were ‘’cast into’’, after Death (and Judgement from The Gods). A ‘’World of Darkness’’, Kasamaan was ruled by a ‘’Death Deity’’ known as ‘’Sitan’’. Absolutely NO pleasure of any kind was found. ''He'' – on occasion, allowed some Evil Spirits to escape Kasamaan. This was under the provision that ‘’They’’ returned to Earth to torment Mankind. Many known Demons in Island Mythology were ‘’Escapee’s’’ of Kasamaan.
