Simpler said ''Flying Heads'' . The Iroquois Nation of Native Americans tell the story of Demonic Flying Head Spirits. Either still fleshed or skeletal , they have Bat or Bird wings attached for flight. They have no body and are constantly in search of human blood (which they can never get enough of because they have no stomach!) It is said that Iroquois who had practiced cannibalism in life, will come back (in death) as a Flying Head . One weapon is a Hearthstone. If they are heated just right, and offered to The Flying Head, they will eat it and explode!
