Kanaima

 From Coastal Africa, The Kanaima are said to be the spirits of human men cursed to immortality for the crime of cannibalism. As a spirit, they inhabit the bodies of Predatory Cats (leopards, jaguars etc). In this guise, they can sneek up and attack unwary Hunters in the night. They are sometimes seen as Were-Animals m greatly resembling their once human form. The Kanaima can be killed by firing a flaming arrow into their form (which burns away the spirit).
