A fixture in many Tribal Clans of The Island of Madagascar (off The Eastern Coast of Africa) – The ‘’Kalanoro’’ were ancient beings, which were said to be the first inhabitants of The Island. Living in caves, The Kalanoro avoid Human contact at all costs. Although non-verbal, They were said to communicate in a series of grunts and clicks (known only to them). When seen (rarely it is said), The Beings are bipedal and covered with fur. They have clawed hands and are thought to only vegetarians. Many Folklorists agree that sighting may be akin to misidentification of some unknown family of Simian, but as some have said, The Kalanoro have been known to use tools to built elaborate houses deep within the caves they live. Legends state that while they are not generally aggressive, those few Humans who have claimed to see their ‘’cities’’, have stated they become very ‘’violent and murderous’’.
