 From Japanese Myth, The Kaijin (meaning Sea Man ), goes back many centuries. Said to resemble a part-fish and part-human Hybrid The Kaijin ate human food, but could not communicate using language. He could only live above water for days at a time (before returning to the Sea). Kaijin was known to accept sacrifices from Seaside Villages in order to remove any threat of Storms.
