 A Scandinavian Legend, The Kabouter were similar to Ireland's Leprechauns. They are also akin to Trolls and Gnomes. Said to be Tiny People who live underground, they like to help humans (particularly with Households chores). They were noted for their red pointed hats that they wore. It was said that a Kabouter was responsible for teach The Dutch how to make Wooden Shoes (Sabots).
