The origins of the name are no doubt related to Louisiana (US) Folk Magic roots. The first name of ''Joseph'' is a link to The Catholic Saint John and possibly Saint Joseph. In it's Folk Magic form -n ''Joseph Danger'' is seen as a ''Cool'' (denoted by Blue color Hues) Deity and not ''harmful''. He features prominently on Folk Altars as the ''binder'' of other Loas (Spirits).
