The American Southwestern Pueblo Tribes, spoke regularly of The Goddess known as ‘’Iyatiku’’. She arose from The Underworld in ‘’The Beginning’’ and served as ‘’Midwife’’ to bring forth Humans (Pueblo Indians). She took Her heart and broke it into pieces. These served as the first Grain grown and harvested by Man. Other ‘’pieces’’ would become Corn and other vital Crops. In October seasonally, Iyatiku was provided great Rituals and Dances in Her honor.
