Iratxo

The Basque Peoples tell of The Iratxo. These were Fairy creatures who made their living performing labor for humans. They were small to medium in height humanoids who could control if they chose to be seen (invisible) or not. The Iratxo would offer their services to farmers at night. They would work crop fields by the moonlight or if the human was particularly wealthy, would perform household tasks. However, woe be to any human who did not pay them for their services. They would become invisible and haunt one s home in activities best seen as Poltergeist in nature. Their payment was simple. The Iraxto wanted only to be fed and left alone to work unaided or seen.
