A Snake-like Cryptoid from The Congo River Basin, The Indombe were massive beasts, said to be 3-feet in width, and hundreds of feet long. Copper colored, their skin was able to reflect the Sun in such a way to create an almost flame-like appearance. Seen as both Good and Evil by Native Cultures of The Region, The Indombe were seen as dispensers of justice and revenge. Although they did not communicate with humans in a conventional sense, they were said to understand human language and at some point eleven human thought. Said to "read" a Person's Soul, The Indombe used this skill to determine a Person's true intentions. Their bite could both cure and kill. They were worshiped and sacrificed to by Natives.
