The Paramount 1958 Film ''I Married A Monster From Outer Space'', was a well made and well received Horror/Sci-Fi Classic (sadly made in Black and White). It hold well today for those who give it a view. Based on the popular premise of Human ''body takeover'' Alien Films (then), the film is now mostly under rated and overlooked by most. The Plot centers around a Newlywed couple. After several months of marriage, Our Bride begins to notice that Her Husband is acting differently. He is more secretive and elusive (only seeking the company of other ''Husbands'' in the neighborhood (who are also acting ''weird''). Adding to the mystery, the family dog (who the Husband loved dearly) is vicious towards Him (as are all the other dogs on The Block). Confiding in Her Doctor, our Wife soon follows Hubby on night. Hidden in The Woods is a ''cloaked'' Spaceship were all the Hubby's in the neighborhood got at night. You see, these are not ''Husbands'' anymore, but a group of hideous looking Alien Beings. We find out that this Race of Aliens need to breed with Human females to maintain their Race. The real ''husbands'' are kept in ''suspended animation'' while The Aliens duplicate their forms as a type of ''shell''. Eventually, The Doctor and non-affected Men from Town believe Our Bride and rally to attack and destroy The Alien threat. A nearby ''Fleet'' of Spacecraft in Space turn away, having received a message from their dying ''Scouting Party''. All the real Hubby's are restored to their former ''living'' state.
