Huwawa

Ancient Sumerian Guardian Demons, The Huwawa were said to have been created by Enlil (The Storm God), to watch over the Cedar Forests of Syria. Giant humanoids, they had a Gorgon-like face. Instead of a beard of hair, theirs were made of slimy, intestines! Able to breath fire and possessing a breath so foul that one whiff would kill, The Huwawa had a frightful visage. Their birthplace was said to have been inside of a volcano. When they rumble, it is a Huwawa waking up!
