‘’Got a Magnetic Personality?’’ – then You too can be One of those ‘’rare’’ Persons who can actually ‘’stick’’ various pieces of Metal to Their body, and have said item adhere to it – as if by ‘’magic’’. Traditional Science has noted that some People (mostly Performers, eg: Carnival Sideshows), have the ability to take such items as nails hammers and metal plates, and have them stick to their heads or other body parts, as if they possess magnetic abilities. In truth, most of these are ‘’gags’’ which involve some form of sticky (and undetectable) substances which allow for such ‘’feats’’. In addition, some can also stick non-metallic objects (glass, porcelain and stone). Most of these ‘’tricks’’ are perhaps Centuries Old and go back to the old Indian (Hindu) Fakir Style of Performers. These ‘’substances’’ are unknown to those of us ‘’not in The Business’’. Still said, several very real cases of Human Magnetism have been studied (although not as grandiose and what would be seen in a Carnival). In these unique cases, Modern Science cannot fully explain the bodily mechanism which allows for such amazing feats (or even why).
