 From The Ancient Middle East is The Huma. The Huma legend is also claimed by Iran. Said to be a mythical bird that never lands, it flies forever. Some versions have The Huma with no legs (and only a body with wings). The Huma also emits a glow (when it wishes to be seen). Claimed to be The Bird of Paradise . To see it (normally upon death), is a sign of eternal reward.
