Hephaistos

 A God and Son of Zeus and Hera, Hephaistos was Master of Fire and Metal. He was born dwarfish and at first shocked his Mother. Zeus removed him from Mount Olympus (Home of The Gods) and was given over to Cave Nymphs to raise. They taught him the Art of Metal Work. He was said to have made many fine gifts for the Gods (Zeus relented and let Hephaistos return, now grown). Later, Zeus and Hera were quarreling, when Hephaistos took his Mother's side in the argument. Zeus threw him out once again! Exiled to Earth, he became Master of Fire. Befriending Humans, his Goddess Wife Aphrodite cheated on him regularly and other Gods made fun of his sooty and sweaty appearance (received from his Metal Work). So angered, Hephaistos showed Man the secret to Fire and Metal Working.
