According to Norse Mythos  ‘’Helksor’’ were a type of ‘’funerary shoe’’ – often crafted and placed on the feet of fallen Warriors. The Helskor were needed for Warriors to be able to ‘’traverse’’ Valhalla (Heaven). There were many different types mentioned ion some Sagas (Tales), from wooden to leather – from a shoe to a boot. According to Legend, a Warrior had to traverse many ‘’difficult obstacles’’ to get to Valhalla. Rivers, Mountains and Forests – these were possibly a form of ‘’trial’’ to finalize One’s ‘’worth’’ to Odin (even though the Fallen Warrior had done so in Earthly Battle’’. Some Scholars cite The Helskor or ‘’Hel-Shoe’’ was a type of invented tale for several Norse Myths.
