From Ancient Greek Origins, ''Helios'' was the personification of The Sun. Later, He was also associated with ''Sight or Vision'' (both regular and preternatural). Always portrayed in Art as wearing a ''Diadem'' (Crown of Light), Helios would be worshiped as late as the 4th Century AD in Rome (ending with it's Christianization). In Ancient Greek stories, Helios would appear in Homer's ''Odyssey'' as an Antagonist to Odysseus (sent by Zeus to torment Him).
