Perhaps a real example of a ''Ghost Capture Machine'' (unlike the fictional version seen in ''Thirteen Ghosts), Zvikov Castle is located in The Czech Republic on merging of The Vltava and Otava Rivers. Finished in 1597, it was used as a Defensive Fortification to guard the confluence. It is also one of the strangest Castles in Europe. The stones used to built Zvikov come from Ancient Bohemia (and are dated to the 1st Century AD). They were brought to The Region by The Marcomanni (an even stranger Group of Invaders/Rulers, who migrated and conquered The Region around this same time). When Zvikov was constructed in the 16th Century, these stones were brought from ruins throughout the land. Each stone has an odd figure or symbol carved into it. The figures have not been linked to any known language and may be Necromany.

The Castle is well recorded with many strange happenings within it's walls over the Centuries. Fires started (on purpose or by accident) are mysterious ''put out''. Electro-magnetic fields from unspecified locations (the stones perhaps ), raise havoc with most electronic gadgets. In addition to the above, strange ''lights'' are seen both inside, outside and even ''over'' The Castle. ''Shadow Figures'', voices even the feeling of being touched, are all experienced inside the ancient fortification. Some Paranormal Sources point to the fact that Zvikov was built to ''house'' Spirits with which to serve as a form of ''defensive system''. The ancient stones serve as a type of ancient magical cage to keep the various Spirits from escaping. Naturally, after so many Centuries, such Spirits would be ''miffed'' at their ''forced employment'' and ''act out''.
