Located in Northern Italy (Cortenova), lies a desolate – but obviously once lavish Mansion. Without neighboring residences (and there's a reason to be sure), The Villa de Vecchi was built under commission of Count Felix de Vecchi in 1854. To be one of His Family Homes, the ''drama'' surrounding the locale started when His Chief Architect was killed during it's final construction. And while the Count decorated it's interiors with lavish Art from throughout Europe, in 1862 – more tragedy would loom. While away on business, ''someone'' killed the Count's Wife and kidnapped His young Daughter. Despite all attempts (local and National), no Killer or Kidnappers were ever found or brought to justice. The Count spend an entire year following leads throughout Europe for His Daughter. In 1864, The Count – despondent, shot Himself. The Villa would pass from new Owner to Owner until the 1930s. It then went abandoned. During World War II, several nearby Mansions and Homes were devastated by Allied Bombing. All were destroyed, save The Villa – which was untouched. In the 1960s, self-proclaimed Occultist Aleister Crowley reputedly stayed inside The Villa for several days (abandoned). Rumors of rituals ''other activities'' were said to have happened. Crowley ''felt'' that the ground that The Villa was built upon was ''special''.

Since the 1960s, only teenagers and the curious have squatted there. Filled with graffiti and trash, it was perhaps illegal substances that led some to say they saw ''ghostly forms wandering the broken interiors'', Cold spots that follow you, and of course ''low whispers of voices'', both day and night. The Villa has been investigated several times over the years by professional Paranormal Evidence Hunters. All claim that The Villa ''does have something'' present. But the overall deterioration has caused great danger and local Police try their best to keep trespassers away. The Spirits however, now that's another matter.
