Haunted Montevallo University

Located in The State of Alabama (US), Montevallo University was a well known and first such School that was opened in 1896 as a ''Technical School'' for Women. One night, several girls were up late and decided to ''heat'' Hot Chocolate as a treat. But one of the girls forgot that earlier, She had been using cleaning solvent (which dried on Her Dress). She got to close to an open flame making the beverage when She suddenly ''went up''. Within seconds, the poor girl was ablaze, running and screaming thru the Hallways. As the other girls panicked, some had the foresight to use blankets to dowse the girl. But it was too late. So badly burned, She died. Since that horrible night in 1896, Girls assigned to The King's House, have reported ''smelling smoke and burning flesh'' constantly. This as well as ''screams that suddenly start then stop''. Oh, and ''cooking'' of any kind is forbidden – NOW!
