An Arabic (Muslim) Religious Term – ‘’Haram’’ is actually an ideology found in The Quran. Haram is best described as a category of sacred items or custom which are forbidden to non-believers of The Muslim Religion. It can be applied to food, relationships and even local Law. In it’s most simple form, ‘’Haram’’ is associated with ‘’sacred places’’, to include Shrines and Temples. These structures are most often related to either Allah (God) or His Prophet – ‘’Muhammad’’. These Haram must meet specific building requirements, mostly – a domed roof and interior imagery specific to Allah or The Muslim Faith.
