Hanako San

 Bathrooms are a popular location for Ghost and Demon attacks in Modern Japan!. Yet another Urban Tale is that of Hanako San. Popular in the 1980s, her story actually goes back to 1945 (and pre-War Japan). Said to be the Spirit of a girl who was hiding in a Bathroom from Allied Bombers (and being killed in the process), Hanako San is called by going to the last Bathroom Stall and knocking on the door 3 times. Afterwhich, one must say her name '' Hanako San, Are you there?''  Her spirit will arise from the toilet and respond with Yes . If one is foolish enough to OPEN the Stall door, they will see Hanako San and be drug down into the toilet to their death!
