Another iconic Horror Film Monster , Michael Myers first debuted in John Carpenter's 1978 film Halloween . The subject of 8 films and several spin-offs, it was remade in 2007. The title character Michael Myers was once a small child when he simply went insane and murdered his older sister (with a knife) on Halloween night. Committed to an Insane Asylum for life, he is found to be devoid of any emotion. The now grown Michael is 6 foot and 200 pounds and (incredibly strong), escapes from the Mental Hospital and makes his way back to his home . We (the audience), are unaware that there was another Sister who (unknown to her) grew up without any knowledge of her evil Brother. Michael (now wearing a full face rubber mask), begins to kill the Town's teenagers on (you guessed it) Halloween Night. Finally cornered in the end by his Psychologist (just before he kills his Sister ), he is shot 6 times and falls to his death from a 2nd floor window. The final scene has Myers body now vanished. The series followed with a more supernatural overtone , giving Michael demonic powers and being immortal (similar to Jason Voorhees).
