Another concept regarding The Afterlife within The Mandaeic (Gnostic) Belief System – The Afterlife (or The World of Darkness) features two ‘’Demon’’ Figures known as ‘’Hag and Mag’’. Hag is the masculine and Mag is the feminine. Neither ‘’Good nor Evil’’, their principle goal is to help a ‘’Soul’’ correct any past Life Evils or ‘’slights’’. This is important for The Soul to transcend The World of Darkness and reach eternal peace with God.
