These intelligent, Grasshopper-like Beings were said to inhabit Southern California (US) and Northern Mexico, thousands of years ago. Local Native Americans said they were 75-feet tall and plagued Man greatly. They would steal wayward children, throwing them on their backs, which were shaped like a saddle. Taking them home, they would devour them. There was no stopping them for many years. One day, a powerful Female Medicine Woman was born. Growing up amid the tears and despair of the Women of her Tribe, she was determined to do something about it. When she had grown, she approached The Leader of The Haakapainizi. She offered herself to him (which he accepted with great joy). "Hopping" home. She cast a spell on the creatures. By the time The Haakapainizi made it home, they were only several inches long. Smaller now, The Tribes were able to crush them beneath their feet, thus destroying a threat to Humankind.
