The Gwisin were a type of Korean Ghost, most associated with haunting places abandoned or not in use currently by Humans. These locations may be an abandoned House, Factory, School or of course Cemetery. Korean Mythology most often portrays The Gwisin as Female (in form), with very long, black hair often obscuring their facial features. They have been described as often being seen ''transparent'' (see through). Legs have been reported as ''missing'' as well in some ''sightings''. They are associated as well with Persons who died without completing a goal. If they do not go to ''The Afterlife'', they are cursed to roam The Earth. The longer they remain on Earth, the stronger their ''powers'' get (control over inanimate objects, ability to manifest in haunting, etc.) The Gwisin are also known pranksters, that like to harass Humans. In this they are similar to The Poltergeist Entities. Until a Gwisin accomplishes their once stated goal on Earth, they will not stop haunting (even if exorcism is applied).
