Another Nepalese Myth, The Gurumapa were creatures who were Custodians of ''disobedient'' Children. They were taken to a place described as a field but this was more appropriately in another dimension, unseen by Human eyes. The Gurumapa were described as ''giant Beasts'', fearsome in appearance (often sporting fangs and horns). They were used in stories to ''scare'' Children into behaving. Many reliefs of them can be found on Temples through The Region.
