Grindylow

 From England, The Grindylow lived in Swamps, Marshes and Moors. Little creatures with scales, they have pointed ears, sharp claws and fangs. Sometime called Little Lizard Men , they eat fungus and algae. They can attack humans (occasionally eating them when they swarm ). This may be a reason why Marshes and Moors were so avoided in The Middle Ages.
