The primary symbol of The Orthodox Gregorian Church – The ‘’Grapevine Cross’’ is traced back to the 4th Century AD. A traditional Cross shape, the Grapevine’s cross bar however are bent downwards (towards the Earth). This design has MANY ‘’origins’’. The most common is that The Crossbar bent, signifies the ‘’weight of Sin’’. The Grapevine Cross is also associated with St. Nino, and is also referred to as The ‘’St. Nino Cross’’.
