By some accounts Gracie Watson was a unique ''Little Girl'' – well liked and loved by all. Therefore it was such a shock when She died of Pneumonia in 1889. Only 6 years of age, She mad quite an impression on ''The Living'' and apparently ''The Dead''. You see, Gracie is said to be a ''featured Haunt'' of Bonaventure Cemetery, located in Historic Savanna, Georgia. Bonaventure was established in 1868 and was once part of a local Plantation in the 1840s. The ''Family Cemetery'' would be the primary foundation for the later Cemetery. The Cemetery is ''home'' to many famous Locals of all walks of Life. It has also served as a backdrop for more tha a few Movies and Television Shows. Bonaventure doe have other ''Hauntings'' , but ''Gracie's'' is the most attractive to some. After Her death, Her Family had carved and placed as Her ''headstone'' a large statute – reputedly to be the ''very image'' of The Girl. Starting in the early 20th Century though, ''Gracie'' (or what was said to be Her), could be ''seen'' running around the statue, ''playing''. In fact, whenever the sad addition of ''other Children, roughly Gracie's age'' are buried (for a number of reasons), ''She is often Present over The Grave'' acting as a kind of ''Greeter'' to ''New and Confused Little Souls''. At times, the sounds of ''many Children'' can be heard running to and fro – in between Gravestones and Tombs, at ''play''. Maybe Gracie found some ''Playmates''.................
